Wanted Suspect Barricades Himself Inside Stafford County Home (Update)

A wanted suspect surrendered peacefully after barricading himself inside of a Stafford County home, police said.

Deputies in Stafford County were notified that the suspect, whose name was not released, was in a home on Edwards Drive around 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, Major Shawn Kimmitz said.

Deputies surrounded the home, but the man refused to leave. K9 and drone teams were called to the scene, and the man ultimately surrendered peacefully sometime around noon.
